Massage Therapy

Facilitating your personal goals towards wellness and empowerment to achieve a higher quality of life.

My Vision

I see the world and its people as profoundly interconnected and I am a deeply intuitive person.  Because of this, I have dedicated my life and career to creating experiences that promote healing and community.

Through my wide range of massage therapy services I connect with people across their energy field and work to heal not just their body, but also help them discover a connection and peace within themselves.

As a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), I possess over 20 years of massage therapy experience. I am a graduate of WellSpring School of Allied Health in Kansas City, MO. I am Nationally certified and licensed by the State of Missouri, and am a member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP), the largest massage therapy association in the country. I am also certified in Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, Reflexology, and Shiatsu Massage Therapy.

My Services

  • Swedish massage

Swedish massage is designed to relax the entire body by rubbing the muscles in long, gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. But the benefits of Swedish massage go beyond simple relaxation.

This method can also help increase the level of oxygen in the blood and improve circulation and flexibility.

  • Deep Tissue Massage

This therapy is similar to Swedish Massage but with a deep tissue massage, your slow, goes further by incorporating firm pressure to release muscle tension. The focus here is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons, and fascia.

A Deep Tissue Massage may improve circulation, reduce minor aches and pain, increase range of motion, and ease inflammation.

  • Prenatal Massage

Even before you give birth, Prenatal Massage Helps your body heal itself, unblocks nerve impulses, promotes relaxation, improves circulation, and restores balance to organs, glands, and other regions of the body.

  • Hot Stone Massage

I use sacred healing stones as an extension of my hands using them to massage the back, neck, and other parts of the body to create warmth, calmness, and relaxation that seeps through the body, soothing nerves, relaxing the muscles, and transporting the mind to a gentle serenity.

  • Shiatsu Massage

Used in traditional Chinese medicine, the Shiatsu method uses Deep stretching and acupressure along the meridian lines that run throughout the body. Pressure is applied using various parts of the therapist's body, for example: thumbs, hands, elbows, knees, and feet.

My Ideology

Because massage is really a co-creative process, I encourage my clients to be active participants in the healing process as I bring balance and harmony to mind, body, and spirit through particular breathing techniques and my nurturing and therapeutic touch.

Typically drawing off of up to nine different types of massage therapy techniques, I work mindfully with my clients to create a method that will best suit their specific needs and priorities, addressing them “one layer at a time.”
